Interior Subject: “Unusual Suspects”

The assignment is to do a “found” interior still life of something mundane – something you wouldn’t normally think to paint. I give you – my kitchen sink. Aside from some perspective issues, I kind of like it, I guess. Oil on canvasboard, 14″ x 11″.

Hey! Do we have the same funnel? šŸ™‚

Looks very nice! Wish my sink was that clean.

I really like it. It’s kind of unexpected, yet comfortingly familiar.

I really like it too. The way you captured the light gleaming on the stainless steel sink is amazing. The overall picture is very peaceful.

I really like your limited palette paintings. Also, Any funkiness in perspective doesn’t bug me – i am mesmerized by the curve of that faucet. Found you through etsy, but happy to find your blog!
